Alice Faye Prieto

December 27, 1952 — February 5, 2021

Mrs. Alice Faye Prieto, age 68 of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at her home following an extended illness.  A native of Tift County, Ga., Mrs. Prieto was born, December 27, 1952, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Fesil Brown and Louetta Gussie Harper.  She worked as a Care Giver for mentally challenged adults and was a member of the Willacoochee United Methodist Church.  Along with her parents, Mrs. Prieto was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Bolanos and brother, Ereatus Brown.

Survivors include: 

Husband:  Eleazar "Alex" Prieto of Willacoochee, Ga.

1 Son:  Lupe Bolanos of Willacoochee, Ga.

2 Daughters: Alicia Indili and husband Josue of Willacoochee, Ga.

                    Angelita Prieto of Willacoochee, Ga.

1 Sister: Mary Cannon and husband John of Rock Spring, Ga.

7 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren and several other relatives also survive. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Prieto were held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Willacoochee United Methodist Church in Willacoochee, Ga. with Pastor Lauri Hartley and Rev. John Cannon officiating.  Special musical selections included, "Sweet Beulah Land", "Amazing Grace", and "How Great Thou Art" all rendered by cd.  The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were:  Lupe Bolanos, Francisco Martin, Josue Indili, Henry Brown, Quinn Brown and Ty Leverett.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
