MAIN STREET POST OFFICE BOX 38 Pearson, Georgia 31642 (912) 422-3221 Fax 912-422-3222 Mrs. Lurie Lee Barlow, age 85 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Lakeland Convalescent Center in Lakeland, Ga. following an extended illness. A native of Miller County, Mrs. Barlow had made her home in Atkinson County for many years. Mrs. Barlow was born March 11, 1924 daughter of Arthur and Lucy Drake Parker. She was a homemaker and member of Goodwill Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Barlow was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Earl Barlow Sr. and one son, E.J. Barlow. Survivors include: 1 Son: Earl Barlow, Jr. of Pearson, Ga. 2 Grandchildren: Brad Barlow of Douglas, Ga. Karla Sewell of Douglas, Ga. 4 Great-Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Barlow were held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 20, 2009 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating. The interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemtery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Irby Barlow, Wendell Barlow, Brad Barlow, Dylan Sewell, Chris Swell and Ralph "Tonky" Barlow. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
