Patricia Ann Walker

Mrs. Patricia Ann Walker age 62 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Saturday May 23,20l0 at her home following an extended illness. A native of Ware County, Mrs. Walker was born January 13, l948 daughter of the late L. B. Moore and Mrs. Mary Moss Jacobs. She was a Registered Nurse and worked in the cardiac care unit at Satilla Regional Medical Center in Waycross, Ga. for many years before retiring. She was a horse lover and enjoyed riding every chance she got. Survivors include: Husband: Foye Walker of Pearson, Ga. 2 Sons: Mark Wesley Alexander of Texas Cannon Walker and wife Eileen of Lake City, Fl. 1 Daughter: Christie Walker of Pearson, Ga. 3 Grandchildren: William Walker, Josh Walker, and Caroline Walker of Lake City, Fl. 2 Step Grandchildren: Abby Larson and Dougie Larson of Lake City, Fl. Mother: Mary Jacobs of Bickley. Ga. 1 Brother: Nicky Moore of Bickley, Ga. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Walker were held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday at Wesley Chapel Church near Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Special music included "He Touched Me" rendered by Michael Johnson soloist who accompanied himself at the piano and "Amazing Grace" rendered by the attending congregation with Tommy Deems leading and Lila Deems at the piano. Soft music for the Prelude and the Postlude was played by Lila Deems pianist. The interment followed in Royals Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: William Walker, Josh Walker, Tommy Walker, James Altman, Anthony McKinnon and Ashley McKinnon. Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Solomon, Ronnie Hall, Henry and Shirley McKinnon, Clifford Taft, Al Williams and Quillan Taft. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
