Mr. McKay Youngblood age 30 of Millwood, Ga. passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 in Sumter County, Ga. from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Mr. Revis McKay Youngblood was born on January 17, 1981, son of Tony Youngblood and Dawn C. Giddens Youngblood. He was employed with Ace Electric for 4 months and had previously worked at Langboard Inc. in Willacoochee. McKay formerly served on the Advisory Committee for the Industrial System Technology Program at East Central Technical College. Survivors include: Wife: Audra Youngblood of Douglas, Ga. 1 Son: Lane Youngblood of Douglas, Ga. 2 Daughters: McKayla Youngblood of Millwood, GA. and Belle Youngblood of Douglas, Ga. Mother: Dawn C. Giddens Youngblood of Pearson, Ga. Father and Stepmother: Tony and Christy Youngblood of Millwood, Ga. 1 Brother: Tom Youngblood of Millwood, Ga. 1 Sister: Nicole Clement and husband, James, of Pearson, Ga. Paternal Grandmother: Alice Gilbert of Pearson, Ga. Maternal Grandfather: Revis Giddens of Pearson, Ga. Several Nieces and a Nephew survive. Funeral Services for Mr. Youngblood were held at 11:00 A.M., Friday November 11, 2011 at Mt Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Mitchell Deems, Rev. Sim Youngblood, and Rev. David Rowe officiating. Special music selections were "Where Angels Fear To Tread" and "Go Rest High On That Mountain" rendered by Charles and Tammy Wood with Charles Wood on the guitar. Soft music for Prelude and Postlude was provided by Harriet Youngblood, pianist. The interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were Charlton Gillis, Greg Brown, Scott Vickers, Chris Hutchinson, Jonathon Nugent, and Jason Bennett. Honorary pallbearer was J.D. Mixon. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
