Mr. G. F. Mullis age 91 of Axson, Ga. passed away Thursday afternoon at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness. Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Shirley Mathews and husband Hinky of Pearson, Ga. 2 Sons: Francis Mullis and wife Marie of Axson, Ga. Douglas Mullis and wife Almarie of Axson, Ga. 9 Grandchildren, l9 Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Mullis will be held at 3:00 P. M. Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Axson Evangelistic Church with Rev. James Drake and Rev. Edward Mathews officiating. The interment will follow in Axson Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 9 P. M. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga.. Mr. Mullis will be carried to the church at 2 P. M. Sunday to lie in state till the funeral hour. Repeating the name of the deceased, Mr. G. F. Mullis age 91 of Axson, Ga. husband of the late Evelene White Mullis.
