Bobby L Minchew

Mr. Bobby L. Minchew age 69 of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. A native of Berrien County Georgia, Mr. Minchew was born May 4, l943 son of Herbert "Wilbur" and Mary Metts Minchew. He had made his home in Jacksonville, Fl. and Brunswick, Ga. before moving to Willacoochee, Ga. in l999. He was a graduate of UNF and had previously worked at SCM/Glidco Co. in Jacksonville and Brunswick. He was the former owner of ATIC Construction Inc. in Jacksonville, Fl and All Pro Rentals in Douglas, Ga. and was currently co-owner of T&M Heating and A/C in Willacoochee, Ga. He was a former member of the Rotary Club in Brunswick. His church membership was at Willacoochee United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Leon Minchew and Rudolph Minchew and 3 sisters, Lola Hodges, Barbara Pittman and Winnie Thigpen. Survivors include: Wife: Linda Minchew of Willacoochee, Ga. 2 Sons: Jeff Minchew (Dawn) of Menlo, Ga., Todd Minchew (Lisa) of Willacoochee, Ga. 1 Daughter: Dana Smith of Brunswick, Ga. 2 Brothers: Jeff Minchew of Toccoa, Ga. and Bill Minchew of Lake Park, Ga. 2 Sisters: Betty Sirmans of Ringgold, Ga. and Nina Killeen of Lake Park, Ga. 5 Grandchildren: Amber and Kayla Minchew, Chadwick Hurston, Jr., Victoria Smith and Donna Leigh Minchew, 1 Step Grandchild: Kasey Wheat and 2 Step Great Grandchildren: Olivia Wheat and Madilyn Wheat. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Mother-In-Law: Idelle Bachelor of Deland, Fl. Funeral services for Mr. Minchew will be at 10:00 A. M. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Willacoochee United Methodist Church with Rev. Jan Conner officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Paran Cemetery in Berrien County, Ga.. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P. M. Monday evening at Willacoochee United Methodist Church. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. in charge of the arrangements.
