Chlora Davis

Mrs. Chlora Davis age 100 of Jacksonville, Fl. formerly of Atkinson County, passed away Sunday January 12, 2014 at Taylor Care Center in Jacksonville, Fl. following an extended illness. A native of Nashville, Ga. Mrs. Davis was born January 22, 1913, daughter of Arren and Lola Griffis Fountain. She had made her home in Jacksonville for most of her life and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Grady Davis and a son Gary Davis. Survivors include: Son: Merlin Davis of Jacksonville, Fl. Sister: Enola Osborne of Jacksonville, Fl. 1 Grandchild, Jennifer Davis and 1 Great Grandchild, Cody Davis. Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and other relatives also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Davis were held at 2:00 P. M. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Relihan Funeral Home with Elder Dan Vickers officiating. Special music included "Amazing Grace" rendered by the attending congregation. The interment followed in Sweetwater Cemetery. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
