James White

Mr. James White, age 81 of Axson, Ga. passed away Friday, October 09, 2015 at Satilla Hospice Home in Waycross, Ga. following an extended illness. A native of Axson, Ga., Mr. White was born March 07, 1934, son of Dave and Josie Davis White. He was a retired farmer and for many years was a swine producer. He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy White and Grandson, Owen White. Survivors include: Wife: Lillie White of Axson, Ga. 3 Sons: Rodney White and wife Diane of Axson, Ga. Wayne White and wife Susan of Axson, Ga. Tony White of Axson, Ga. Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchild, Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives also survive. Graveside services for Mr. White were held Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Axson Cemetery with Rev. Clayton Davis and Bishop Steve Sirmans officiating. Special musical selections included "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be" and "I'll Meet You in The Morning" rendered by cd. The interment followed in Axson Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Garrett White, Kevin White, Dustin White, Curt White, Chase White, and Caleb White. Honorary pallbearers were: G.C. Simmons, Claude (Doodle) White, Lloyd White Jr., Roy Combs, Kenny White, and Johnny White.
