Merle Leavens

Mrs. Merle Leavens, age 85 of Axson, Ga. passed away Thursday, February 04, 2016 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. after an extended illness.   Survivors include: Son: Ray Leavens and wife Debbie of Axson, Ga.   Sister: Mary Ellen Highsmith of Willacoochee, Ga.   3 Grandchildren: Jennifer Spikes and husband Travis of Axson, Ga.                              Tracey Smith and husband Mathew of Douglas, Ga.                              Mitchell Leavens and wife Jennifer of Ambrose, Ga.    7 Great-Grandchildren:  Blake Spikes, Alexis Spikes, Anna Leavens, Jared Leavens, Bailee Smith, Gabe Smith, and Austin Smith.   Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.   Graveside services for Mrs. Leavens will be held Saturday, February 06, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Willacoochee City Cemetery with Rev. Hardy Crosby and Rev. Mitchell Deems officiating. The interment will follow in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.   Visitation for Mrs. Leavens will be Friday, February 05, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home.
