Rickey Stone

Mr. Ricky Stone, age 51 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. from injuries sustained in an accident.   Born July 9, l965 in Homerville, Ga., Mr. Stone was the son of Joe and Annie Mae Arnold Stone.  Mr. Stone had previously worked at First String in Pearson, Ga..  He loved the outdoors, especially fishing.  He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Stone.   Survivors include: Mother:  Annie Mae Stone of Pearson, Ga. 2 Brothers:  Michael Stone and wife Angie of Pearson, Ga.                   Randy Stone and wife Sue of Pearson, Ga.   4 Sisters:  Sharon Warren and husband Donnie of Pearson, Ga.                  Patti Thomas and husband Rickey of Pearson, Ga.                  Robin Gurley and husband Stanley of Pearson, Ga.                  Clarine Lott and husband Rickey of Douglas, Ga.   Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Stone were held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Covenant Outreach Ministries in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Robert Spivey officiating. Special music included “Lead Me Home” by tape, “Beulah Land” by soloist Tressie Mathis accompanied by tape and “The Cross” by Tony Allen” accompanied by tape.  Soft music for the Prelude and the Postlude was by tape. The internment followed in the Sunnyside Cemetery.   Serving as active pallbearers were:  Timothy Gurley, Anthony Taylor, Kevin Arnold, Kenneth Haskins, Keenan Thomas and Shawn Bennett. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
