Sylvia Crews Harper

Mrs. Sylvia Crews Harper, age 57 of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017.   A native of Douglas, Ga., Mrs. Harper was born November 5, l959, daughter of L. J. Crews and Ruby Darlene Lee Crews. She was currently working as a security guard at Langboard Inc. in Willacoochee, Ga. She lived most of her life in Atkinson County and was a member of The Church of God in Millwood, Ga. She played the piano at church and was an accomplished singer. She also loved to read, write stories and loved dogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Alan Harper.   Survivors include: Son: Chip Townsend of Douglas, Ga.   Sister: Cherri Hursey and husband Ott of Willacoochee, Ga.   2 Brothers: Linnlon Crews of Willacoochee, Ga.                    Jamie Crews and wife Brenda of Swainsboro, Ga.   Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.   Memorial Services and Visitation for Mrs. Harper were held Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Steve Wilson officiating.   Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
