Carlis Gene Lott

Mr. Carlis Gene Lott, age 65 of Columbus, Ga. formerly of Willacoochee and Pearson, Ga. passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Ga. following an extended illness.   Carlis was born December 15, l95l in Tifton, Ga., son of the late Orville and Elsie Lott of Willacoochee, Ga.. Carlis graduated from Atkinson County High School in l97l. He attended South Georgia College in Douglas, Ga. and Valdosta Technical School in Valdosta, Ga.. During his lifetime, he worked in construction, manufacturing, security and as a cook. He also loved music and played in several bands.   Survivors include: 3 Brothers: Jerry Wayne Lott of Athens, Ga.                    Kenneth Orville Lott and wife Samie of Columbus, Ga.                    Bryant Elisha Lott and wife Lana of Dublin, Ga. Carlis also has numerous family members and friends in South Ga., having grown up in Willacoochee, Ga.   Funeral Services for Mr. Lott were held Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Bill Huffstuttler officiating. The interment followed in Hebron Cemetery.   Serving as active pallbearers were: Randy Sheffield, Stanley Mizell, Doug McKinnon, Donald Lott, Robert Lott, Silas Lott, Tim Morris, Alton Lott, and Bobby Lott.   Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
