Woodrow Stone, Jr.

Mr. Woodrow Stone, Jr., age 67 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Sunday, August 06, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Ga. following an extended illness. Survivors include:   Wife: Brenda Davis Stone of Pearson, Ga.   Daughter:  Ingrid Stone Whitley of Pearson, Ga. 3 Sons:  Craig Stone and wife Sharon of Pearson, Ga.              Jody Stone of Pearson, Ga.              Scott Stone and wife Brooke of Pearson, Ga.   4 Brothers:   Clifford Stone and wife Sylvia of Douglas, Ga.                    Stanley Stone and wife Libby of Douglas, Ga.                    Chester Stone and wife Judy of Douglas, Ga.                    Kenneth Stone and wife Kay of Douglas, Ga.   5 Sisters:    Willene McNatt of Douglas, Ga.                   Alline Williams of Douglas, Ga.                   Shirline Merritt of Douglas, Ga.                   Alphine Davis and husband Dale of Manor, Ga.                  Ola McKinnon and husband Ralph of Douglas, Ga.   6 Grandchildren: Bran Stone and wife Ashlin, Camden Stone, Delana Stone, S.J. Stone, Jessica Whitley, and Michael Whitley, Jr.   Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Funeral Services for Mr. Stone were held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Pleasant Church with Rev. Bobby Fussell and Bishop Steve Sirmans officiating. The interment followed in the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery.    Visitation for Mr. Stone were held on Wednesday, August 09, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
