Donald Jathon Corbitt

Mr. Donald Jathon Corbitt, age 70, of Savannah, Ga. passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at his home in Savannah, Ga. following an extended illness.   A native of Atkinson County, Mr. Corbitt was born November 29, l946, son of Jathon and Ethel Newmans Corbitt. He had made his home in Savannah for many years, was a retired painting contractor and of the Baptist Faith. He was also a U. S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jathon and Ethel Newmans Corbitt.   Survivors include: 3 Sisters: Jo Anne Lane of Savannah, Ga.                Cathy Lynn Ragan and husband Everette of Savannah, Ga.                Lisa Stewart and husband Russell of Blackshear, Ga.   Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.   Graveside funeral services for Mr. Corbitt were held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Willacoochee City Cemetery with Everette Ragan and Minister Andrew Crowe officiating. Special music was “Just One Rose Will Do” presented by cd. The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.   Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
