Robert Julian Bennett II

Mr. Robert Julian Bennett II, age 37, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Candler Hospital in Savannah, Ga. following an extended illness.   A native of Waycross, Ga., Mr. Bennett was born September 2, l980, son of Robert Lee and Irene Gilliard Bennett. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and enjoyed spending time with his children. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Bennett.   Survivors include: Mother: Irene Gilliard Bennett of Pearson, Ga.   Son: Trey Bennett of Argyle, Ga.   2 Daughters: Kathryn Bennett of Argyle, Ga.                      Kylee Bennett of Argyle, Ga.   Special Friend: Cindy Shorb   2 Sisters: Judy Fender of Pearson, Ga.                Jennifer Bennett of Pearson, Ga.   2 Brothers: Clayton Bennett and wife Kati of Waldorf, Md.                    Daniel Bennett and wife Kristina of Blackshear, Ga.   Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.   Funeral services for Mr. Bennett were held on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home with Rev. Clayton Davis and Rev. Randall Rhymes officiating. Special music included “Daddy’s Hands” and “Amazing Grace” presented by cd. The interment followed in Indian Mound Cemetery.   Serving as active pallbearers were: Jacob Brown, Kevin Hall, Jr., Jeffery Hall, Ben Bennett, Junior Bennett and Clayton Bennett.   Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
