Allen W. Corbitt, Jr.

Mr. Allen W. Corbitt, Jr., age 61 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Memorial Satilla Health System in Waycross, Ga. following an extended illness.   A native of Atkinson County Mr. Allen W. Corbitt, Jr. was born November 30, 1956 son of the late Allen, Sr. and Willie Mae Joyce Corbitt.   Survivors include: Sister: Wanda Rowland of Willacoochee, Ga..   1 Nephew: Lee Burnam of Milledgeville, Ga.   Several other relatives also survive.   Graveside funeral services for Mr. Corbitt were held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Arna Cemetery in Willacoochee, Ga. with Rev. Clyde Purvis officiating. Special music included “Amazing Grace” rendered by the attending congregation with Linda Davis leading. The interment followed in the Arna Cemetery.   Serving as active pallbearers were: Marshall Davis, Andrew Davis, Mark Vining, Jody Stone, Scott Stone, Timothy Davis, Jr., Manning Smith, and Henry Smith III.   Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
