David Michael Bennett

Mr. David Michael Bennett age 63 of Axson, Ga. passed away Monday, April 09, 2018 at his home in Axson, Ga. following an extended illness.   A native of Lakeland, Ga., Mr. Bennett was born November 23, l955 son of Edna Fae Bennett Davis. He had made his home in Newton, Ga. before moving to Pearson to live with his daughter. He worked for many years as a truck driver with Walmart before poor health forced him to retire. He enjoyed spending time with his family and the outdoors and especially liked to hunt. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Bernice and June Maddox, Mother, Edna Fae Bennett Davis and Brother, Jimmy Cantey.   Survivors include: Wife: Debbie Bennett of Axson, Ga.   Daughter: Melissa “Nicky” Tinajero and husband Armando of Axson, Ga.   2 Brothers: Dean Bennett and wife Shirley of Stockton, Ga.                         Timothy Cantey and wife Victoria of Stockton, Ga.   3 Sisters: Vivian Zipperer Bennett of Orman Beach, Fl.                    Latrelle Smith of Homerville, Ga.                    Margie Fender of Homerville, Ga.   Grandchildren: Amber Decosta and husband Jonathon                            Emilia Tinajero                            Diego Tinajero   Great-Grandchild: Jasper Decosta   Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.   Visitation and Memorial Services for Mr. Bennett were held Thursday, April 12, 20l8 from 5:00 to 8:00 P. M. at Relihan Funeral Home.   Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA. was in charge of the arrangements.
